Zirconio

ZIRCONIO was founded on 9th January 1965, originally on a plot of 38650 square metres, 4400 of which were built up. It started making twin-fired tiles, mainly in 150 x 150 mm size, in plain colours.

Right from its beginnings ZIRCONIO has designed, made and marketed wall and floor tiling and complementary ceramic pieces.

Our firm commitment to the environment, the great technological and human investment in Research and Development and our top quality products have placed us in a prominent position in the national and international ceramic sector.

At the present time ZIRCONIO’S premises spread over a surface area of more than 250,000 square metres in Vila-real (Castellón) and it has a staff of 460, which allows an annual production capacity of 10,000,000 m2.
Every day this whole team manages to place a product highly rated for both design and quality on the national and international markets with strict quality control in its own laboratories and always within the standards
established on the different markets.

The extensive range of ZIRCONIO ceramic products includes wall tiles, obtained by the porous single-firing process (atechnique in which we are pioneers), stoneware floor tiling and a wide variety of complements and special pieces.
The concept of design at ZIRCONIO accepts new challenges and sets its sights on offering new products to satisfy the tradition, craftsman quality, avant-garde aspect and exclusivity.
We therefore pass on all these sensations to our ceramic products, thus creating a connection between the memory of the past and the most conceptual minimalism of the future.
This is how we are able to offer a wide range of possibilities for household or heavy-duty surfaces sure to get our customers’ greatest satisfaction.
In a clear commitment to expansion, ZIRCONIO has already managed to establish a presence in over 170 countries, through its 225 points of sale in Spain and a further 1000 spread all over the world.
